Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2023-24

For more than 25 years, Reliance has given scholarships to outstanding students. The founder and chairman of Reliance, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, believed that the best way to ensure the prosperity of the nation was to invest in the future generation.

Up to 5,000 deserving undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds will receive support through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships in 2022–2023; through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships, up to 100 of India’s top postgraduate students will receive support for their studies in new technologies.

Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2023-24

Eligibility

• Students must be enrolled full-time in their first year of an undergraduate degree programme at an accredited Indian institution, in any stream.
• A minimum of 60% in class 12 is required for graduation.
• A household’s annual income should not exceed INR 15,00,000. (preference will be given to those students whose family income is less than INR 2,50,000)
• Only open to Indian citizens who live there.

Documents

The applicants are required to attach the following documents at the time of application:

• Passport-sized photograph
• Address Proof (for address ticked as preferred physical correspondence address)
• Marksheets of 10th and 12th Class Board Examination
• Bonafide Student Certificate of current college/institution of enrollment, or Student ID Card
• Family Income Proof
• Official Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Up to INR 2,00,000 over the duration of the degree programme

Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships 2023-24

Eligibility

• Only those students may apply for this scholarship who are enrolled in the first year of a full-time postgraduate degree programme in one of the following streams:
  • Computer Science
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Mathematics and Computing
  • Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Renewable and New Energy
  • Material Sciences & Engineering
  • Life Sciences
• Must have secured 500 to 1,000 in the GATE examination

OR

• Must have scored 7.5 or above in their undergraduate CGPA (or % normalized to CGPA) [If students have not attempted GATE]
• Open for Indian Citizens.

• Current Resume
• Marksheets of 10th and 12th Class Board Examination
• Marksheet of GATE Entrance Examination (if applicable)
• Official transcript/ Marksheet of undergraduate degree
• Bonafide Student Certificate of current college/institution of enrollment, or Student ID Card
• Two essays: Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose
• 2 Reference Letters: 1 academic and 1 character
• Experience certificate/ letter/s from work experience/ internships (if applicable)
• Official Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Up to INR 6,00,000 over the duration of the degree programme.
