West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship 2022-23
About the Program
The West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation, which is part of the Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department, is offering the West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship 2022–2023 as a way to help minority students in West Bengal who are enrolled in classes from Class 11 to Ph.D. level. The award seeks to promote school attendance among members of minority communities and reduce dropout rates. The chosen deserving students will be eligible for a maintenance payment as well as other perks.
West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship 2022-23
Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a resident of West Bengal and
- a member of its minority community
- having a family income of less than INR 2 lakh per year,
- being enrolled in classes from Class 11 to Ph.D. in a school, institution, or university that is accredited by an educational board or the state or federal government, earning at least 50% of the possible points in the previous test.
Note – The students pursuing their studies outside West Bengal are not eligible for this scholarship.

- Maintenance Allowance – INR 2,500
2) For Hostellers:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 11,000
- Maintenance Allowance – INR 4,200
General course students in Class 11 and 12
1)For Day Scholars:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 7,700
- Maintenance Allowance – INR 2,500
2) For Hostellers:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 7,700
- Maintenance Allowance – INR 4,200
Undergraduate & Post Graduate Students
1) For Day Scholars:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 3,300
- Maintenance Allowance – INR 3,300
2) For Hostellers:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 3,300
- Maintenance Allowance – INR 6,300
M.Phil & PhD Students
1) For Day Scholars:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 3,300
- Maintenance Allowance – INR 6,000
2) For Hostellers:
- Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 3,300

Documents
- Marksheet of the last academic examination
- Family income certificate
- The first page of the bank passbook
- Institute verification form duly authenticated by the Head of the Institution (HOI) in the prescribed format.
How can you apply
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below and read all the details.
Step 2: Select “Apply Online,” then select “Student’s Area” and “New Registration.”
Step 3: Click “Proceed” after choosing the district where the applicant’s institute is located.
Step 4: Register after providing the necessary information in the “Student Information” and “Scheme Eligibility” sections.
Step 5: Use the registered user ID and password to log in after completing the registration process.
Step 6: Complete the application, add the necessary files, and submit.
Note – Submit the hard copy of the application form with the photocopies of the bank passbook to the concerned institute.
