ICAR AIEEA Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for ICAR AIEEA Exam 2023 are given below:

• Nationality: The candidates should be Indian national citizens.
• Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar Card is mandatory except for Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya state candidates.

For UG Courses:

Age: The minimum age will be 16 years as of 31st August 2023.

Qualifying Exam: Passed the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board is required to apply for ICAR AIEEA 2023.

Subject: The examination should be passed with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCF subject combinations.

Marks Required: General OBC/ UPS category candidates have to obtain 50% marks in the qualifying exam and 40% for SC/ ST/ PC category candidates.

Appearing: Appearing candidates can also be eligible to apply but, they have to produce proof of qualifying for the examination.

For PG Courses:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed graduation with four/six (10+6 B.Sc. Ag.)/five years’ (B.V.Sc. & AH)/51⁄2 years (B.V.Sc. & AH) degree.

Marks: 60% marks for General, OBC, UPS & EWS categories and 50% marks for ST/SC & PwD categories.

Candidates must have completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. with internship before the date of admission.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Exam Pattern

ICAR AIEEA exam pattern is given below for the candidates of UG and PG courses:

For UG Courses:

• Mode of Examination: The mode of the exam will be CBT (Computer Based Test).
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• Total Questions: There will be a total of 150 questions in the question paper
• Medium: The question paper will be in English and Hindi.
• Type of Questions: The question paper will be of multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
• Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
• Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1 mark.

For PG Courses:

• Mode of Examination: The mode of exam will be held online mode. 
• Total Questions: The question paper will consist of 120 questions.
• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the examination.
• Total Marks: The question paper will consist of 480 marks.
• Medium: The question paper will be in English medium only.
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark for the wrong answer.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Syllabus

The syllabus for UG and PG courses for the ICAR AIEEA. The 12th-class subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Mathematics, and Agriculture will serve as the basis for the UG courses’ contents.

Chemistry – Some basic concepts of Chemistry, Solid State, Solutions, Structure of atoms, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of Matter, Gases, and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Hydrogen, General Introduction to p-block elements.

Mathematics – Sets and Functions, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Vectors, and Three Dimensional Geometry, Linear Programming, Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics and Probability, Dynamic, etc.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 ADMIT CARD 

The first week of April 2023 will see the publication of the ICAR AIEEA Admit Card. An e-admit card will be available for download. During the allotted time, the authority will post the e-admit card to the NTA website.

By inputting their application number and date of birth, applicants can obtain their admit card. Each candidate who has registered for the exam will receive an admission card from the authority. In order to participate in the exam, candidates must self-attest a copy of their admission card.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Result

The ICAR AIEEA Results will be made public online in the first week of May 2023. Candidates can view the outcome by logging in using their login credentials.

On the basis of the outcome, the authority will also create a merit list broken down by subject. The candidate’s merit rank will be made public as part of the outcome. All applicants who took the entrance exam will receive test-by-test rankings based on their performance throughout test preparation.

ICAR AIEEA Counselling 2023

The ICAR AIEEA Counselling will be started from the 2nd week of May 2023. The mode of counseling will be an online process. It is mandatory to register on the ICAR for admission followed by a counseling process.

Depending on their total merit level, the candidates will receive calls for counseling. The candidates must download their call letters in order to take part in counseling. The seats in different agriculture colleges will be distributed based on the candidate’s choice and the seats that are available.
