About Indian Institute of Management – IIM Shillong:

IIM Shillong is a premier management institution located in Shillong, India. It was established in 2007 and started its academic session in 2008-09. It is the 7th IIM to be established in India and is recognized as a premiere management institution. The institute is temporarily housed in the Mayurbhanj Complex, which includes a main building with administrative office, faculty offices, classrooms, library, and conference halls. The campus also has an auditorium, guesthouse, syndicate rooms, student dormitories, and faculty residences. The institute is dedicated to offering quality management education and research in Northeast India.

• The nearest major airport and railway station is at Guwahati, which is about 120 km away from Shillong.
• Guwahati Airport is well connected to many major cities in India including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata
