The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) was established in 1984 by the Indian government as a national-level school of excellence in management. It is the fourth IIM to be established in India and is situated in Lucknow on a 185-acre campus. It offers a fully residential academic program with state-of-the-art facilities, including a computing center, library, and classrooms. IIML has a diverse curriculum and provides opportunities for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Institute is also collaborating with other business schools and research centers globally. Additionally, IIML has a second campus in Noida, which focuses on executive education, research, consulting, and corporate training.
Location – The campus is located amidst serene surroundings at Prabandh Nagar about 21 kms from Lucknow Railway Station and 31 kms from Lucknow Airport.
Transportation – Lucknow is about 450 kilometres to the south-east of Delhi. Lucknow is well connected to the rest of the world by air, road and rail. Its Amausi airport has direct flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Sharjah. Lucknow is a major railway junction with convenient overnight connections to and from Delhi.
IIM Lucknow is a top management institute in India with a spacious library, computer center, IT facilities, residential facilities, student exchange programs, and co-curricular activities. The library has over 60,000 resources in the field of management and related areas and is equipped with a cyber-lab. The computer center is equipped with state-of-the-art computing resources and a fiber optic campus-wide network. Residential facilities include hostels with furnished accommodation, a mess run by the student committee, and recreational activities. Student activities include Index, Manfest, Innovision, and guest talks by companies. The Institute also provides health and sports facilities and has a flexible medi-care structure.
